What is in a name?

Doing well in a raised bed.

But did you know? In the U.S.A., Australia and Germany this is known as a Zucchini. A word borrowed from the Italian.
In Scandinavia it is known as a Squash.
In the U.K., Ireland and New Zealand it is known as a Courgette, a word borrowed from the French. Unless of course you let it grow large when it magically transforms into a Marrow.

Mrs.K. Has decided that I need some lightweight boots which will give more heel support for my trips up Arnside Knott. My extra shows the challenge of choosing the right ones. However, a choice was made and my heavy leather boots can be stored in case I ever venture up Scafell Pike again.
