Not the usual view.....

.....of my bedroom rugs.  I took advantage of the baking sun today to wash them and this is one of them hanging on the line.  They normally take a long time to dry but that wasn't a problem today.  Also trimmed the front hedge with the shears in short bursts, but apart from watering the pots, not a lot of energy expended.  Feels a bit cooler now and a few drops of rain when I closed the back door. 
It was the last Maths group until September today but I had told them I wouldn't be there as I expected to be in hospital.  I couldn't have faced the walk up the hill to go anyway.
