A Vision Of The Past.

The unfamiliar buzz of massed propellers heralded a tight, delta formation of small, single-engined aircraft flying low over Leith on approach to Edinburgh Airport.

Not Spitfires, Hurricanes or Messerschmitts but nine Pilatus PC-7 trainers of the Swiss Air Force display team, flying in prior to their first appearance at the annual Airshow at the National Museum of Flight on Saturday.
