Flypast

I rarely manage to capture any of the traffic that flies through Lincolnshire skies at regular intervals but today was an exception. Partly because of the amount of noise they were making and the fact that they did two circuits around the house with this one straight over the top. A spitfire, a hurricane,  the Lancaster and that's the point at which my powers of aircraft identification ends (perhaps a typhoon jet having done some googling.) And there was a connection to tonight's third and final leaving do with a model spitfire as a leaving gift and a book on the Lancaster bomber signed by the surviving crew members. It was a do for a select few with good conversation and lovely tapas. And now it feels like the holidays can well and truly start with my time my own.
