I had a great afternoon with Marvin Beaver aka Dylan Rhymes and Mat Frost, we started work on 2 new tracks, great to see Marvin again and to meet Mat properly at last.

Then I went into town and met Emma and Jon and Ninotchka and we saw Rodriguez live  at the London Palladium, it was such a moving show and if you haven't seen the film searching for Sugar man then you really should, it tells the story of how he made an album in the 70s which as far as he knew had flopped but actually it had been a massive success in South Africa and over 20 years later a journalist made it his mission to find out what had happened to him and then his career started all over again….

Emma was lucky enough to run into his daughter Sandra Rodriguez Kennedy in the loo, she sang 3 original songs she had written before he came out, she was really good. Here she is talking about her Dad.

Notch took us to Soho House for a drink afterwards where we met her husband Per, a lovely day all round.
