We had intended to cross over to the mainland

To go touring among the mountains, then saw these clouds and decided a day on the island would suit us rather better, and we watched the weather on the mainland get cloudier and cloudier as we basked in sunshine.
(Well at least part of the time!)
This has often been the case when we have had holidays on Anglesey, it seems to avoid the worst of the weather, (thankfully)
