be like you

After a quiet start when they came downstairs they suddenly switched to frenetic make-the-other-one-squeal mode half-way through breakfast, then settled down when we got to the allotment except for a few exceptions when one tried to poke the other with a stick. Fortunately neither poked the wasp nest in the dumpybag acting as a temporary compost bin with a stick and I managed to rediscover the presence of wasps when pulling at a stray tendril of bindweed emerging from the bag without being stung to shit. I'll have to pop past on the way home one day next week to squirt the remainder of our wasp-nest-fucking aerosol into the bag before pedalling swiftly away. There's also an anthill in one of the proper compost bins but they can't fly and can't sting so can stay.
