From Erics to Evol

Lying Bastards at the Arts Club tonight.  Just one of a number of class acts in another LIMF exploration of the development of popular music and culture.  This time, looking at punk as it was then and as it is now (if punk is the right word today).  Anyway, Buzzcocks tore it up on the (nearly) 40th anniversary of the release of Boredom - yup, when I was 12.  But Lying Bastards stole the show for me with an immensely powerful set to a room that was far less full than a band of this calibre deserves.
