Downtown Vancouver

A day spent mostly in downtown Vancouver and Stanley Park, North America's 3rd largest urban park, which we cycled round. As we had no car and the weather was fine, we ended up walking around a considerable part of thecday and I enjoyed looking up at the shimmering glass from all the skyscrapers. First impressions are that Vancouver folk appear to be extremely friendly. They are very proud of their city and rightly so. The prices here are also half the price of Iceland. The skyline is very impressive as is the setting of the city which is a large bay surrounded by mountains. My blip today is a collage of city views of the skyscrapers.
