The Challenge

This evening I drove to the Taylor Dam. It was cold and raining at the lake. Ricky met me there and had fun photographing Maisie enjoying a good run. We fed black swans at the lakeside and watched as the four resident greylag geese sped from the other side of the lake to join the swans in competing for food. I have never seen birds move so fast on the water. The geese were quite challenging to the swans. Maisie was fascinated with the goings-on.
