A view from St Swithin

Seaton and Donside

Not content with a mornings run in the Parkrun we decided to have more exercise this afternoon as the weather was decent . We had a ramble  round Seaton Park which has much improved paths and a nice wee hidden garden . Then we walked along the Don with a nice view of St Machar's Cathedral and a lot of evidence of flood damage from the floods in January . We then extended our walk along the Don to the new Donside Village which is where the old paper mills used to be . The whole area is a big improvement of what was there before and it looks like there are plans to extend the path all the way to Grandhom bridge and village . Also ended the day with our first crossing of the new Victoria bridge linking Tillydrone with the Bridge of Don . With my GP hat on the bridge gets a thumbs up as its made visiting our patients in the Bridge of Dom much quicker and easier .
