I made a cake!

After a rather lovely Sunday lunch of roast beef and Yorkshire puddings; I decided to try and make banana bread.

A first for me.

I don't ever recall baking a cake before ( scones and rock buns at school excluded ).

Luckily the wife has a plethora of cook books, including a Mary Berry book.

I added some chocolate chips, and almost forgot the 2 tablespoons of milk!

Now there's only half left; and a resounding 10 out of 10 from my wife.

Quite chuffed ( and stuffed )
