Petersfield Historical Site

This plaque tells the history of an old Wealden house in Petersfield (in The Spain) for those of you who know Petersfield.   The extra photo is of the Wealden House, which in 1442 had a malthouse in its grounds, ( until 1898).   It stood on the old boundary between Petersfield and Buriton parishes.   Its original service bay was demolished in 1964 for road widening.
