Teasels

It was good to have a really lazy, chilled morning after yesterday. Stanley was glad to have some time at home, before he returns to Southampton tomorrow.
Paul and I had a quick walk round the village having done some shopping for his Mum. She was able to come out for a late lunch - the first time she has visited us since her hip op nearly two months ago. Whilst she was here, we were able to speak to Jack in Burkina Faso, on Facebook chat - there was a delay on his voice so we ended up saying 'beep' at the end of each person's chat - consequently the call ended in fits of laughter ( you had to be there)!!  He has already had a stomach upset and spotted some local snakes in the pipes - very venomous but he seems to be coping with all his new experiences.
We spotted these teasels during our walk as we sheltered from the welcome rain. And it is cooler!! Hurray!
Thanks for the stars for yesterday - all encouragement appreciated :)

Off to Northampton tomorrow after seeing the dentist so I shall back blip at the end of the week.
