Something brewing...

... over Lake Paterswoldsemeer. I went out tonight to capture the sunset at Paterswoldsemeer, but unfortunately the clouds and the rain had other plans. No colors in the sky but it was nice playing with the light and dark patches in the sky. When this boat came passing by, I quickly pushed the ISO up to 640 and opened the lens somewhat more, to allow a sharp image of the boat. It would have been nothing but a blur at ISO 100 and f/16 with a shutter speed of around 2 seconds.

Definitely a location to return to get the image that's in my head!
