The Square

We were out in the city for some pre-holiday shopping this afternoon, it was busy. It's been a while since we have made the most of Edinburgh while the Festival is on but we'll miss it again. St Andrew's Square was mainly just grass until a few years ago when they changed the layout, added a cafe and an infinity pool. It's now used all year round including becoming an ice-rink at Christmas, but it looks lovely to sit here for a drink... I'll save some pennies!
