Fat Maisie has been caught.  I got him!  We were away visiting over the weekend so I think he was hungry, he got in the trap with minor encouragement.   He didn't panic or thrash about.  I took him to the vet, the Cats Protection League have called to say he's chipped and he's called Snoop (Dog?).  His owners haven't seen him for 3 years and are not keen on getting him (and his £500 bill) back.  Not sure what's going to happen to him now.  

In other news, I took FM to the vet in the car with the boot and realised the gauge was on less than empty and the traffic was v bad.  I went to the petrol station and explained I had no purse, card etc and they allowed me to put some fuel in and go back later.  Thank you, Morrison's.
