Wall Art - 72

This is a fairly recent one in Gorbals Glasgow showing Allan Pinkerton who was born in this part of the city.   He famously went on to form the Pinkertons' Detective agency based in Chicago.

In this image he is shown with Abraham Lincoln. 

The more I read about Pinkerton the more fascinating a character he becomes.  Well worth a bit of research.
