Harvestman

Found this wee one on my summerhouse door. Often mistaken for spiders, they are members of the arachnid family but are opiliones. They have one body that is not sectioned, spiders have two. Only two eyes, no fangs or venom glands, and they don't produce silk. They also have ridiculously long legs, which made it difficult getting an iPhone lens close enough to get a shot of his face. This one wasn't too chuffed at first, and kept trying to run off, but eventually let me take his picture. (Sorry to anyone who is a beastiephobe ) :-D
