Colour

I do like Rosebay Willowherb and not only for its glorious name. Just at that moment when you think all the wildflowers have been and gone and the verges are looking overgrown, drab, ‘past it’, up come these spikes of wonderful pink and we have swathes of colour once more. The fact that it colonises waste ground that other flowers shun is another reason for liking it.
