Heading South

The end of our time up North and we headed back to Oulu for another couple of days before heading home again.

On our way south we stopped off at 'The Giants' Kettles' (hiidenkirnu in Finnish), which are giant pot holes scored out from the movement of glaciers during the last ice age. They trap large boulders in small pot holes, that as the glaciers melts, they swirl round eroding out smooth large pot holes. The entrance to the pot holes has a lovely geologically map for people to look at, which is really cool.
