Big sky

We were assured that the weather was going to be good all day, by the tourist information in Geilo, so we decided to go up Prestholtskarvet. The main path is via a stone staircase, built by Sherpas, to reduce the erosion. It’s a good path and the flowers around it were really good. As we left that path to go to one of the many tops of the hill, it started to snow and we walked for about a kilometre on snow, before ending up on the rocky top. Luckily it stopped and the sky cleared to leave a huge sky. The views were extensive to the south over the Hardangervidda. The blip is a panorama of 2 shots looking south east towards the next shower. We got wet in snow, then rain, as we went back down to the van. The extras are of some lichen on the plateau. There is an amazing variety of sorts of lichen, but these looked good.
