This plaque on The Shore in Leith, which I must have walked past hundreds of times before, marks the spot where George IV first set foot in Scotland in 1822. 
Judging by where it is, I'm guessing Sir Walter Scott had just treated him to some traditional Scottish nachos onboard the Cruz bar and restaurant.
