Progress!

We now have the new carpet down, pictures up and new lights fitted. They make a lovely pattern on the ceiling! Now to move the furniture back in - although we have to wait until Friday for the sofas so we'll have to camp out a little longer yet.

We haven't really done too much today as we spent a lot of it waiting for the carpet fitters to arrive and then cleaning up afterwards. They put down new flooring in the en suite as well so we had a mess upstairs and downstairs to deal with.

Leo escaped for some footie and PlayStation time with his friends, then he had goalie training this evening. One of the trainers is the English national goalie for the Paralympic team so they have all wished him well as he heads out to Rio and they promised to tune in and watch him on the tv.

Leo has more footie tomorrow at a 'train the Arsenal way' session - although he is determined to go in his MANU kit :) I hope he enjoys it, as the sessions run for 5 consecutive Wednesdays over the holidays. He is going with two friends from Cully Rangers so that should help him settle in and have fun.

That means I have 5 hours to myself tomorrow - will have to head out and make the most of it. I predict a nice coffee will feature somewhere during the day - and maybe a nice bit of lunch out somewhere.
