A Soggy Visitor

Yesterday when we were swimming in the pool, we were surprised to find it getting rather green with algae, so we called the pool maintenance company, and a young man came out to test and treat the water. 

This morning, I walked out to see if there was any improvement, and was surprised to discover this tiny baby bunny sitting on the top step!  Poor little thing.  He must have fallen in trying to get a drink of water.  He was very soggy and scared.  We managed to fish him out, although it was quite a challenge -- who knew bunnies knew how to swim so well?!  We rinsed him off with the hose as much as he'd let us, and then he skedaddled off underneath the ferns and hostas, hopefully to be reunited with his very worried mother.  Jackson was delighted to make his acquaintance!  We think he might be Clover's baby.  Jackson has named him "Dexter."
