An Unusual Hangar.

The production prototype of the Scottish Aviation Bulldog hangs within the National Museum of Scotland, an unexpected find for the first-time visitor to Chambers Street.

First flown in 1969, the Bulldog was used as a basic trainer for the Royal Air Force for 32 years. The late Duke of Hamilton owned this particular aircraft, and was donated by his widow to the Museum so that it could be displayed in his memory.
