Cramond Again

As arranged today, we took all our Grandchildren on their promised trip to Cramond.

Weather was great and we went fully prepared, complete with picnic and tent.

Jamie, who I'm sure will be either an adventurer or an explorer, was soon in the shallow water left by the outgoing tide.

However, it's a bit mucky there and he was soon wet through and covered in mud. We left him for a while with Ryan and Emma - and he would have stayed all day if we'd let him.

He wasn't all that happy when we whisked him of to get dried and changed, but sitting in the tent having his picnic did the trick.

We then followed the usual script - fed the duck and swans, had some ice cream and, now that the tide was coming in, went back to the beach to throw stones in the sea.

Only encountered one problem. The pop-up tent which is ridiculously easy to put up, is a bit more difficult to fold down and put back in its bag!!

Needless to say, it's in the shed half folded and it will stay that way until tomorrow!!

The fun begins again next Monday when we have Jamie for his first overnight stay, with Ryan and Emma also here on Tuesday.
