Class reunion

Last year I suggested organising a reunion of all the pupils in our last year at primary school to an ex-classmate, who really liked the idea - and so it happened! Out of about 30, we were 18 present. We met at our old school to recreate the class photo taken 40 years ago. We then had a lovely pot-luck meal together. It was a fantastic occasion - despite the fact that most of us hadn't seen each other for 40 years, we felt we really knew each other. This seems extraordinary but that particular year had been really tough and rich in experiences which probably had brought us together far more than we realised.
