Alpine barn

Cycling around the small villages around Interlaken again today. It always amazing how interesting these small places are when you get off the beaten track.

In Wilderswil the old wooden farmhouses date from 1509. The blip is along one of the narrow lanes of Bonigen near the shores of Brienzersee.

These farming implements were used to carry cut grass down from the steep slopes for storage in the barns for the cows.
