Extreme colour prejudice?

We buy a particular birdseed for the Feeders.
It happens to have all manner of seeds in.
However, on this particular occasion I took an over full jug out to fill the feeder and tipped the excess into the nearby feeder of a different type. The starlings attacked - this is what they left. Obviously very colour prejudiced.
