Queen Elizabeth

Lovely sunny day. So after stripping bed and hanging out washing. I decided not to waste it. So set off for Lunderston Bay.

Walked along towards the tower of Hunterston power station taking lots of photos. Came back to car park and walked the other way. Round the corner came the huge cruising ship I had seen in Greenock on the way through called the Queen Elizabeth. It was being followed by The Waverley, one of very few seagoing paddle steamers still being used. Took the family out for a trip on it last year and we got a sunny day. Amused to watch the Waverley overtake the cruise ship.
