A great morning

Today I had the pleasure of spending the morning making stuff in the company of three lovely people - a local mother and daughter and a young woman just arrived from Egypt.
We laughed, we shared stories about family, our cultures and our languages and we made birds. Whilst the bird making was great fun and (as all the adults have said today) very theraputic, the real joy of this morning was the opportunity to spend time with three other people who would never normally meet, never mind spend a very relaxed two and a half hours together (mostly covered in glue).
