Bright and beautiful

It's been a bright and beautiful day. After my shift at The Usual Place, I had coffee outside in the sunshine with my friends Venus and Ajanta.

This is a small detail of the floral arrangement outside Greyfriars Church which celebrates the 140th anniversary of the founding of the YMCA in Dumfries. You can read about its history here. Youngest Son is working at a YMCA in New York State this summer and we will be staying at another YMCA next month - watch this space.
