Bouncing on the pontoon ...

.... in to Barley Cove.
What a gorgeous day. Start of the Bank Holiday weekend here and the good weather has brought everyone out in force and all of West Cork headed to the beach! Lunch in Crookhaven watching the yachtie types, on to Barley Cove which was packed with families changing under towels, playing frisbee, making sandcastles, leaping in and out of the very cold water. We even indulged in a little sunbathing and one of us fell asleep! On to 3 Castle Head and tea with the most spectacular view and tame seagull. Macaroni cheese and a movie now beckons.

By the way, many of you will know Rainie is coming up north in a few weeks. Just to say there is going to be a blipmeet in West Cork on Thursday 18th August in her honour. If anyone would like to join us we would love to see you. Please get in touch for details.
