Calla Lilies

After a swim this morning I repaired to the garden centre for a coffee and as it is Flower Friday I could not resist the temptation to wander into the plant room to take some floral shots. At this time of year there is no shortage of beautiful blooms to capture and I took a whole range of shots. however, in the end it was the calla lilies which grabbed my attention as I totally bewitched by their sinuous lines. This pair appeared to be a couple of dancers to me. I was purposely restricting my shooting to capturing the flowers as they were displayed so I had to move around quite a lot to avoid intrusive backgrounds.
