The Faraway Tree

Out of the plethora of books we have for the kids, Miss A chose one which I'd been keeping for when they're a bit older - Faraway Tree Stories. It's 553 pages of adventure from Enid Blyton and one of my favourite books of all time (well 3 books in one if we're nit-picking). My mum used to read the Faraway tree Stories to me when I was a little girl and I remember it so vividly. Now here I am, some 30 odd years later, reading it to my daughter.

I thought Miss A would be a bit too young to enjoy the book as it's all words with only a handful of line drawings, but we're 96 pages in and she's still loving it. Little D, not so much!
