This week

Vacation, Week 1 of 2.

I am so thankful that we are not packing to leave tomorrow and that we get to stay another week.

My husband rigged the ladder and some boards so I could use the remote to capture this photo of the hummingbird.  It makes me chuckle how he's so at home rummaging around a garage working on a project when he is getting away from the projects that present themselves at home.

These are the peaceful sounds of life on this little island on Lake Michigan.
