Modesty

Lovely to meet up with Arclight and alfthomas in our barrio this morning.   It was meant to be for dinner last night, but a missed flight got in the way of that.  We went for a wander with Plaza Concordia as our destination and when we got there we had two disappointments: one was that we'd taken them there before on their last visit and hadn't remembered and the second was that despite it being 10.30am nothing was open.....late even by Spanish standards!   However, we soon settled down in the shade for brunch in El Globo on Calle Vallespir.    Nice catch up and then back to our patio for another wee while before they headed off to their next destination.  Fingers crossed that they get on that train!
