Unlucky for some..........13(th)

Whilst the sporting world's attention was focused on the USPGA being played out in New York, the real golfers were locked in battle elsewhere.

Hollandbush GC (13th hole pictured) held it's annual Invitation Texas Scramble where I was lucky enough to be asked to play in (not so) Wee Bros' team.

Although we played well you need someone in your to have a red hot putter and all four of ours seem to have stored overnight in the fridge, needless to say we left prizeless.

A good day was had and if the USPGA can match the excitement of one unlucky player being carted off the course to an ambulance with a broken neck or another having a hole in one that didn't get on the card, then I'll subscribe to Sky Sports :-)
