We were on Stage 7 of The Two Moors way walk today with our local walking group.  We were walking from Morchard Road to Witheridge in Mid Devon and reached the mid point of the walk in the morning.  It was a very warm day with sunny spells and also dark clouds as can be seen in this blip.  I chose this shot as we walked quickly through a field of cows and their young and as we reached the stile out of the field we heard the bull.  It was bellowing from a distance and eventually came into sight approaching from one side, the cows all started to move quickly towards it as we watched from the safety of the adjacent field.

It was a walk of green fields, hills, views of Dartmoor behind us and Exmoor in front.   It was also a walk with many animal incidents including the bull, the alpacas shown in extra and a point when a herd of sheep ran out from a large barn across our path some in such a hurry they were jumping.  We didn't work out what was going on.

An enjoyable walk of 11 miles that took most of the day due to our use of public transport and a bus that almost broke down and managed the journey at a slow speed.
