Welcome to Middle Earth!

Another trip up the M6, this time to Lancaster to meet up with the family. We then went for lunch in Arnside, followed by a walk along the cliff top and on the beach. 

Early evening we went to the Williamson Park for a walking theatre production of The Hobbit. We were transported into the magical world of Middle Earth. The play took place in five locations throughout the park and the fading light added to the atmosphere. The costumes, effects and lighting were fantastic and they made great use of the natural environment. I haven't been to anything like it before but we will now certainly make this an annual trip. What an amazing and fantastic evening.
