The Perth Library

Even though it was very cold and raining on and off all morning I decided to head into the city to have a look at the new Perth Library.

On the ceiling is a very large installation by Andrew Nicholls called ‘Delight and Hurt Not’. It is a visual depiction of the end of Shakespears play The Tempest. He was in my group at Uni 20 years ago and I was thrilled for him that he was chosen to do this.

All in all a great day out, much fun dodging the showers :o)

Here's a link to someone who has taken some great shots of the new library, it was pouring when I got there and when I left so I didn't get any shots of the exterior.
