The Silvery Tay

Cathleen and I were  in Dundee for much of the day.

I love the views you get in some cities of what is outside them and this, a view from a flat in the Perth Road looking between buildings and down a narrow lane, is the epitome of those vistas particularly on a day when the occasional heavy rain shower meant constantly changing visibility and colour.

The  Tay Rail Bridge (the replacement for the one that was destroyed in a storm in December 1879  ) is having some work done on it, hence the white shelters.
