It's chilli in here!

Day 2 of the new house. Just as hectic as yesterday. Maybe more so.
Didn't really stop all day. As soon as we woke up we got to work. Unpacking boxes, searching through boxes to find that elusive phone charger. Getting lost down memory lane when you find a box of photographs you haven't seen in years.

We also had a visit from Jamie. A fun few hours was spent with him trying to get him to help. I was not successful. We did unpack one of the garden gnomes? And he is now skillfully hiding behind a plant. Jamie has named him Super Gnome, I'm not sure why because he's a ninja but I let him decide.

Lunch was kindly provided by Jamie's Mum as a reward for us looking after him. All together we dined on a feast of chicken wraps and crisps. After Jamie and family departed the elusive Skype man eventually appeared! We now have full sky TV and Internet. Sadly we are far too busy to watch TV.
Our afternoon was spent in the best shop in Aberdeen. The Range. They sell everything! It's bloody brilliant. Far too much was spent on housey stuff and then we were back to work. Mrs G went back to our now empty flat to give it a good cleaning, while I stayed at the new house to continue the unpacking. Eventually it was half 7 and we were shattered. McCombers returned from the old flat and we.emptied the car of the last of our stuff from the flat. And while we were unloading, some little shit threw a water balloon.
Not at us, but in our open front door. I was raging! Didn't see who did it bet they certainly heard me shouting!( as did half of Portlethen)
We were tired, hungry, and now had a soaking wet lobby.
We were in need of a pick me up.
Amazingly, one of our new neighbours is Jamie's best friend from school, and her mum made us chilli! How nice is that?!

So tonight we dined on chilli and nachos provided to us by our new neighbour. Bloody brilliant.
Over all a pretty good day, (aside from the water balloon incident) we got a lot done, hung out with Jamie and Cameron, got a lot unpacked, got the TV and internet working, and best of all we didn't actually pay for a meal all day!
Now I'm absolutely shattered. I'm off to load my new dishwasher and go to bed.
