Mull of Kintyre Light

The sun was shining early this morning when I poked my head out of the tent at Machrihanish. A run across the beach then away to visit this lighthouse. Thick mist when we parked the car and I wondered if shorts and tshirt were a mistake however the track dropped steeply down and we soon walked out of it into the sunshine. I loved all the alleyways around the buidlings.

A steep walk back up then a blipmeet on Westport beach with Apothecary and Beachcomber.  A great walk along the beach followed by the obligatory tea and cakes at Glenbarr. Thank you both very much for a sociable afternoon.

Back home now and planning something else for tomorrow. I love summer.
