View to Ivinghoe Beacon

I had planned to search for Purple and White-letter Hairstreak butterflies in the new woodland that's been added to the nature reserve, but cloud gathered over my bit of the Chilterns this afternoon. I ended up doing a lengthy walk around the valley, just enjoying the views. This was taken just down the lane from the reserve, looking NE across the Tring gap towards Ivinghoe Beacon and Pitstone Hill. I think we might see these fields harvested soon if the weather holds.
