Orchid

When it was my birthday a few weeks ago, I could not resist buying two more orchids. This is one of them. I tried to photograph it with a another colour background but it didn't work as well as this white one.

Several showers and a possible thunderstorm had been forecast but we didn't get a single drop of rain the entire day.
