Bouncing back

Matt, Andy and I drove to the hospital not knowing whether George would be kept in or not, so as well as their passports we took them a change of clothes just in case. On the phone, Mo had said they’d be doing a chest X-ray, and that George had seemed to be doing well.

Just before visiting time, we got the brilliant news that he was getting out – and after making our escape we headed home.

Back at the house the boys invented a game which involved George throwing rings into the pool for the others to retrieve.  These could be exchanged for “mugginses”, a kind of made-up currency. Or at least I think that’s what they were doing.  They seemed happy enough, anyway.

Later on we fired up the BBQ and had a bit of a meat-fest in celebration.
