A great afternoon in Gourin yesterday. Of course there was crêpe eating involved (buckwheat with ham cheese and egg then butter and sugar on a regular flour batter crêpe), then a demonstration of folk dancing around the story of a local villain called Gwen who terrorised the region with a small band of ruffians in between the world wars. Impressive dancing as you can see!

It was then time for the audience to dance to the tunes of the famous Morvan Brothers who sing kan ha diskan, then Titom.

A joy for photography as I was always quite ideally placed...
