A marriage proposal

Right here on DB beach! It's not the first one though!!!

We went down for our usual Sunday afternoon on the beach and were joined by three more couples. No zany lilos today, but we did spot a few people setting up lights and preparing a part of the beach for their friend who was going to propose today. We, Sharon and I, went to have a look at what was happening and they told us. I spotted that they spelt 'marry' wrong, they were going with 'merry' me. Thankfully they appreciated the input and corrected the error.

We hung around to watch the proposal and it was really quite sweet. Nice to see that romance still has a place on this earth and people do put thought into things. Hope they will be very happy in their married life.
